Rofl at your status xD.. I'm pretty sure he was kidding. It was his way of saying games are too cheap already to merit having a wishlist.
Ah ok, I was about to say! That is true though. I'd understand having a wishlist if the games were $60.
A few people have said "Why have a wish list?" Yes - I could easily buy the 3 games on my wishlist, but it's not just a matter of money. Like many of you, I have a backlog of 40+ apps which I've brought and not played yet. Therefore, there's no point to keep buying games endlessly, even if they're cheap. The wishlist tab on the AppShopper application is a great place to record the games which interest me, so they're not forgotten. AppShopper sends me an e-mail if they change price - in which case I'll probably grab them. And if I wait the games typically have a sale eventually. In the meantime, there's other games to play. The wishlist is also a good place to list games that i'm not sure about. I sometimes wishlist a game and then wait to see what you guys think.
I started this thread to see if certain games appear on people's wish lists often. For example, I thought many people might be curious about 'Papa Sangre' and have ALMOST purchased or CONSIDERED purchasing it, but without doing so. That was my prediction. And it has been mentioned. I notice "Paperboy" is also mentioned a couple of times. If I was a developer and discovered my game was ALMOST being brought by lots of people, I would start working on strategies to make them commit to the purchase.
Galaxy on Fire 2 has been on my radar forever, ever since I've played the lite version. But I've never really gotten around to buying it. Now just a minute ago I saw it was on sale and it's downloading right now
well about a year ago, I wishlisted about every paid app that was in the popular and even some that weren't. Now, I can't even sort through it, but I end up with notifications of games I don't even remember going on sale. Some still look good so I give them a shot. but I have like 1k games on there, and I'm not going to spend a week cleaning it out.
Rofl. I started shopping on the AppStore 2 and a half years ago and didn't know how to wishlist games until a month ago.
Well, it's really different than the massive set of levels Angry Birds has to offer. It is THE best endless runner variation, though. As I said, it makes me smile every time!
Personally, I prefer the wishlist on AppShopper, above the itunes wish list. I like the way AppShopper shows the price history and does alerts.
Yep, most people do. I never heard of either of them until recently like I said. Never go on AppShopper and don't click anything on iTunes besides "download."
You click the drop-down arrow to the right of the buy button. It's the second option on the tab that drops down: "Add to wishlist."
To see all the apps in your iTunes wishlist: - Click the drop-down arrow beside your itunes login ID (top right of itunes, next to your remaining $ balance) - Click: Wishlist. That option can be tricky to find if you haven't used it before.
