Also CR is $12.99!!! Well at least it was on release day when I got it, and I love it btw. Greatest RPG on the store. Worst RPG on the store? I'd say....Crusade of Destiny. Sure it's a 3D RPG, but it's BROKEN AS HECK!!!
Ahh it's gotta be vegas pool sharks This is absolutely shocking when compared to others in the genre. On top of being the worst game, I paid £4.99 back in the day of the early app store stuff! Now it's 59p http://appshopper.com/games/vegas-pool-sharks
hmm can't say for sure I have a worst game - but the biggest disappointment for me was the Duke3d port - it is still passable (finally found a half-way decent control setup), but it is extremely disappointing. No music, no swipe-to-look, no high-def project port. I mean think of it - if time was spent on it Duke3d could look like this on the iPhone: http://hrp.duke4.net/screens/ep1/e1l6_05.jpg
Afterwing- Not a terrible game per se, but a very dull and sloppily presented one. COD- Not the FPS, it's a TERRIBLE Game Salad game. Pocket God- I know I'm gonna get burned for this one, but I really do not care for it. Crystal Quest- Loved this one on Gameboy a while back, but this version was horribly glitchy and crashed often. Good thing I got it for free. SpongeDude- Got it for free. Horrible graphics, broken controls, broken physics, bad soundtrack, yet I actually played it for longer than I should.
Without a doubt, Alcoman is the crappest App ever. You shake your iPhone until the crappy picture man spews. It packs more thrills than front row seats at the Turtle Olympics.
If Guerilla Bob is among the worst games you've ever played, you've certainly have had a charmed experience with iDevice gaming.
+1 to whoever put down "Be Free or Die". Also, Hell Jump was really really bad (which is a shame considering how nice the art looked for it). I also personally wasn't a fan of "Dead Strike", and less so how the dev kept promising "buy now, new features coming soon along with a price increase", followed by the price ping ponging around, but the new features never coming. As it is it feels like an unfinished tech-demo. Agreed also with the disappointment with the Duke 3D port. With some effort put towards it, it could be great. As it stands now, with barely workable controls and huge framerate issues (and no music), it was pretty much a waste of $0.99.
Bloody Hell. I tried the lite version and deleted it about 2 minutes later. It played like a bad flash game whos only selling point was the shock value of killing people and dogs.
Myst. I can see how other people might like it but it's way overpriced and not at all to my personal taste.
I´m being put off by the artstyle of all this "Doodle" games. They might not be bad games per se , but the art just doesn´t cut it for me. Does anybody feel the same? Same goes for Zombie games, i don´t even take a look at them anymore. Wasted effort, come up with something original for a change. Last but not least: Freemium games, i hate the concept behind those. ngmoco was good until they decided to put up a whole bunch of Freemium Content (We Rule, We Farm, We Suck etc.) I can only hope Venan Arcade (Space Miner) won´t get lost into this money sucking vortex aswell. Provide a good complete game, get the well deserved money for it. That´s what the Appstore should be about in my book.
