Which developer/publisher do you HATE the most.

ok name one ngmoco game that you can truly consider as 'original' and not 'inspired' by any other games.

 

I see your point, but it really is difficult not to draw some type of "inspiration" from a previous game of some sort. Originality can only go so far. All fps's can't be said to be not "original because they were based off of the first fps, just like all rpgs can't be denounced as "uninspired" just because they weren't the first of their kind. In that case, you would run out of genres. But what you say is true, because they do take inspiration from other games. It just necessarily isn't always a negative thing.

Well, name one big-name company that has a completely original game on the iPhone. Not one. But they're still good, aren't they?

 

That is why I am not bestowing anyone the title original like he did but all i'm asking is one ngmoco game. Spider, Rasta Monkey, Eliss, flight control to name a few are games that are original.

That's true actually.

Everyone bashes Gameloft for being unoriginal and for copying other games.
When in fact, many other developers (such an ngmoco) do it all the time.

Rolando = Loco Roco
Eliminate = Halo
Touch Pet Dogs = Nintendo dogs
We Rule = Farmville

 

Sega for me. I suppose I'd hate Ngmoco but i dont even borer with their games

 

The spider manor game is totally 100% original! Never seen anything like it.

Gameloft. Produces a lot of overpriced, overhyped crap.

 

In general, activision. On the iPhone, EA and Sega have put out nothing but disappointments.

Gameloft...Dungeon Hunter is ok, but even with that, Gameloft games tend to be shallow, cheap knock offs of popular series.

 

Sega without a doubt. The obviously don't understand how powerful the idevice is so they just keep releasing some of their classic yet dated game which would be awesome however they are just cheap emulated ports that are all completely overpriced. I mean why can't we get a port a Port of Crazy Taxi? And I would kill for a port of Power Stone 1 or 2, And Skies of Arcadia would be so amazing I would probably have a heart attack.

Also I don't understand the immense hate of Gameloft. I mean sure their games arent very original (at all) but they are fun and give us console quality games on the idevice and proves to people that games on the idevice can be amazing in the right hands.

 

I just got Dungeon Hunter and NFL 2010 (only b/c Madden blows chunks) both on sale for a buck. That is all.
