who removed battle for wesnoth..its better than half of games him in story...this thread is full of bias
1. Battle for Wesnoth is a TBS 2. I don't see how this thread is full of bias unless most of the people who voted work for Square Enix somehow.
From my little knowledge... Rpg has many subtypes rts..real time strategy tbs...turn based strategy and by the way HOW DO YOU EXLUDE BOW because it is TBS FF1,FF2, CHAOS RINGs are TBS!!!!!!!!!!!
They're Turn Based RPG's, not a Turn Based Strategy game like BoW. They're different types of games. I absolutely cannot stand playing TBS games like BoW, but have no problem with Turn Based RPGs. While they both have RPG elements, I don't know if I'd personally call BoW a RPG, but it does fit a subtype of the RPG genre. Though if Space Miner is on the list then BoW deserves to be on there just as much as that game. With that said, some games had to be left out in favor of others since there's only so many you can fit. Across Age is def. an RPG and IMO better than that garbage of a game Zenonia, yet it's not on there. Again, my opinion
RTS and TBS are not subtypes of RPG, they are different genres. FF1, FF2 and Chaos Rings are not Turn based strategy games, they're turn based RPG games. Anyway, I'm kinda surprised that Across Age didn't make it on there, it seem a lot more story focused than some of the other RPGs in the poll.
Lol @ Dungeon Hunter. Why is that even on the list? I thought you had no room left. That game has about as much story as pac-man. Anyways iDevice RPGs can't compare to the story of real console/PC RPGs. Chaos Rings probably takes the lead so far in terms of story for the iDevice.
Yes it is. Why would you think otherwise? Because it was popular. The story wasn't that great, but it had a story nevertheless.
