This has been an awesome week, between this and the Halo games, I'm a happy camper! Based Xatu Well-Known Member Aug 27, 2013 1,937 0 0 #4 Based Xatu, Apr 23, 2015 How does it play? I wasn't too happy with halo, and wish I had bought this. Luciano1084 Well-Known Member May 8, 2014 1,515 0 36 #5 Luciano1084, Apr 23, 2015 I wasn't to happy with halo either.. I might take the plunge on this one Grimstone82 Well-Known Member Jan 3, 2011 594 0 0 Northbrook, IL #7 Grimstone82, Apr 23, 2015 What didn't you like about Halo??? Aside from the fact that the controls take some getting used to, I think both Halo games are amazing and among the best games ever made for mobile. As far as steel soldiers is concerned, I think it's a great RTS. The devs made some stupid control choices, but generally it's a lot of fun. My only major complaint is that there is no skirmish mode, and the devs get a big WTF?? from me for that one. There aren't many good RTS games on iOS, so considering that this one is actually pretty decent, I'm super happy. Based Xatu Well-Known Member Aug 27, 2013 1,937 0 0 #8 Based Xatu, Apr 23, 2015 It feels fan made. I've only completed the original Halo on PC and enjoyed Reach, but I like the universe. The controls -even when you get used to them- are weird, and the mission structure didn't hold me. Actually, this is my same problem with space marshals, they're both great games , but they feel so amateur. On topic: you would recommend this, then? I was looking for a good rts. Space Marshals amateur??? I don't even know how to respond to that. If you think Halo and Soace Marshals are amateur, what games would you consider professional (for lack of a better word)? I knew this but wanted to give halo a shot anyways just because I'm a HUGE halo fan in general.. I find it boring to be quite honest.. I'm in the minority though ## On topic: the screen shots looks dope.. No skirmish mode is a potential deal breaker though.. Don't get that ❓❓ TheOutlander Well-Known Member Apr 15, 2014 820 0 16 #11 TheOutlander, Apr 23, 2015 So, this is like Starcraft 2, because, if it is, then you've already sold me. Based Xatu Well-Known Member Aug 27, 2013 1,937 0 0 #12 Based Xatu, Apr 23, 2015 No, it's some of the presentation that's amateur. Halo:SS has poor voice work and the UI is ugly- not to mention the controls are super wonky and don't feel like you're fully in control. Space marshals is one of my favorite games and it's still on my phone, but the lack of voice acting and the fact they added replay ability only in replaying levels for more loot is a poor decision. Plus a lot of the missions are a trudge, and doing them five times just to get all the loot makes the game less enjoyable. Seriously though, how is this game? Lol The Son of Anarchy Well-Known Member May 14, 2012 313 0 0 #13 The Son of Anarchy, Sep 8, 2015 ^^This... Anyone get this on release or still playing it? Just wondering about the controls, it looks pretty good but controls are everything when it comes to RTS, I wasn't too fussed with the original Z's UI at all. They both received updates right before the cut off point for 32-bit apps. It mentions compatible updates for one of them so I think it is likely they are 64-bit but don't hold me to that. Have you tried contacting the developer? That or buying it might be the only way to know for sure.
