      I'm pretty sure it doesn't. When you receive the gift, it gives you a link to go to the App Store, and then it asks you to log in there.

      i'm curious about that too...i submitted 30mins ago...but haven't got confirmation link:eek:
      and yes ...nothing in spam folder either

      It should send a confirmation pretty much right away. You may want to check your spam folder, perhaps it got put in there.
