Perhaps you guys have been wondering where have we been and what have we been doing since then? Indie developers like us always manage to struggle with the world. However, we made it through those tough times and here it is! It’s an idle game with the easy but addictive combat system, named W.E.S.T: wild west explore shoot trade. [Developer Log] Hey guys! Thank you so much for your support for W.E.S.T. The whole team is totally thrilled and we decided to update more, about the game, also about our team! After discussion inside the team, we started a new part – DevLog. The first one begins with New Version’s Eve. Here is a true story. It was midnight, 17th May. Our hard-working coders submitted all the codes, debugged and fixed the bugs. The rest of us asked them to take some rest and began to test with complete passion. Bam! Something happened and it was something unexpected! A new bug from a feature in game which was already tested hundreds of times. You can imagine how we felt at that time. It was more than angry. A saying always goes in our team, don’t even expect to get some sleep on New Version’s eve. We’ve been working on this problem for a very long time, even with various mechanism to avoid this. In fact, we’ve tried scientific project management methods, effective bug management tools like GitBuckets, agile product development and so on. Furthermore, we invited our players to help us test during the developing phase. To be really honest, we even prayed in our studio (hehe, you can laugh now). Unfortunately, none of those works well and this problem happens every time. What I’m trying to say here is it’s never easy for a small team like us to develop a perfect game. All what we can do is that with our hard work and efforts, our players can enjoy the fun from our game. And happily, every time the new version is released, we receive positive feedbacks from our players. And this is what we really cares. BTW, if anyone can think of some helpful methods for this, you are always welcome to bring them to us! Thx! A short first dev log! Hope you guys enjoy it.
