I made a thread about this awhile ago. It has some gems in it: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=64217
Don't know if this qualifies... and only the lite version is out.. Danmaku Unlimited ~ Bullet-Hell Shooter http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=92786 http://itunes.apple.com/app/danmaku-unlimited-lite/id422364260?mt=8 Seems like most of the resident shmup/bullet hell players like the game. I can't wait for the full version to be out too!
I stumbled upon 'Drift Away'. You have a bubble and you have to blow it around, collecting points and powerups, while dodging bugs and tree branches. Graphics are amazing; bubble has real-time reflections, and the sides bend in a bit if you touch a branch, just before it pops.
i don't know if it's unknown - maybe it's just old, but I think Denki Blocks is a great game. Really solidly designed puzzle game with good extra challenges.
Tactical warroir ... this game is awesome ..it is like battleheart but in TBS..and it has a lite version not only this game is good..its one of the top games imho in appstore
Solomons Keep and Solomons Boneyard Xenome Dr. Nano X Race After 1977 Pix n' Rush Ninjatown Assassins creed multiplayeR
I loved that game, was so proud of myself when I finished it..hmm I might just redownlaod that right now O:
Just going through what I have installed right now and listing ones that don't get a lot of chat AFAIK: A Monster Ate My Homework - Boom Blox-inspired physics game Creamy Ice - reaction game that I play way more than I should Forget Me Not - I know it got TA coverage but I dunno if people forgot (hah) about it. It's a fantastic retro game that never was. Love Battle Princess - action puzzler with gorgeous artwork of pretty girls. Get SubSolar also/instead if you don't want pretty girls - same game but with an abstract space theme. Pac-Chain - yeah it's a big name but it doesn't get mentioned much for some reason. It's Collapse with some unique Pac-Man mechanics, and really pretty addictive. Puckerz - it has had some coverage, mainly in similar "unknown gems" lists, and it's sort of.. half Peggle, half Labyrinth? Addictive though. And then the nicely-done clones/genre games: Chirp Chirp - just a growing-circle game but the birdies are so cute Choc Choc Pop - cute Bejeweled clone Piyo Blocks 1 and 2 - Bejeweled games with concurrent matching so the combos get crazy Snake Galaxy - it's the basic snake game, but on spheres. Bit rough around the edges but a good play. Wheelies - It's based on the old SNES game Uniracers. It's not as good, but I haven't found anything better.
