I dont know why they have to implement "inertia" in your aiming, i just cant hit s**t in this one. Well, it was a while when i tried playing this, so they may have improved it. But for all that time that they had sh**ty controls, i bet no one's playing it online. At least not much if there ever was any. VaroFN Well-Known Member Sep 28, 2011 4,270 0 36 #4 VaroFN, Nov 3, 2012 Maybe this means that the update is coming soon. Otheriwise I don't know why they are putting this on sale. Gunlock Well-Known Member Dec 13, 2010 472 0 16 #6 Gunlock, Nov 3, 2012 According to AppShopper the last update of the game was in march, so if they plan to update the game it will be kinda late by now. After reading some of the iTunes reviews I see many people have other problems with the game (crashing etc.) so quite a lot of work is required to polish this game. VaroFN Well-Known Member Sep 28, 2011 4,270 0 36 #7 VaroFN, Nov 3, 2012 That's not the problem. Some months ago it was said by the devs that this game was gonna get an update that was going to add things like ranks, leaderboards, achievements, one new character, etc., and that was said before summer. No news since then. The game is really cool, and it only needs a good exp system, being able to customize the classes, and of course its bugs need to be fixed. I'm going to reinstall this game now that more users are going to play, but I hope that the update is really coming out. No moveable controls either, and when you try to move sight control, your fire keeps going off intermittantly. Too bad they don't fix this, has some potential. Well, hopefully there will be an update, delete for now... mrbiggles Well-Known Member Jul 3, 2012 3,691 0 0 Like retired USA #9 mrbiggles, Nov 3, 2012 Last edited: Nov 4, 2012 too bad the controls suck...looks like it could be something worth getting/keeping if they revamp it/fix some issues in the future. Once they squash control issues and get this up to spot on the update items they promised, it could still shine. In the meantime, it's certainly worth getting in the hopes that it happens. WG is like the shell of a super awesome, OMG amazing MP game that feels like the developers got almost all the way to the end and then walked away. Smallish but cool maps, controls (while not awful) are certainly not great, no real options for customization, no levels, limited, underdeveloped characters... And yet, the game itself oozes (like I said) top level quality, just unfinished. Playing it was a brief, weird, oddly hopeful experience. Here's hoping they finish what they started. Getting it for free, if it became fully realized, I'd gladly pony up some cash... I'm sure there was much "smashing of the buy button" when it was released. As for me? I'm comfortable being 3 or so months behind everyone else. I think that stems from my heavy PC gaming days, when I would wait for the inevitable expansions to be released and later bundled in a Gold or Collection version, whatever name the publisher gave to it. Same with console games. That's about how long freebies used to last most of the time. I prefer it when apps go free for no more than 24 hours. They're less likely to get watered down w/iaps. Also, judging from the post-mortems I've read, developers rarely recoup much money at all after extended (say, 3 days or more) free periods. Primoz Well-Known Member Aug 14, 2012 2,075 0 0 #19 Primoz, Nov 4, 2012 I got this day 1 when it got released. The hype for this game was huge here on TA and everyone was talking about this game and THE graphics. This game had huge potential of becoming one of the main multiplayer FPS games on the AppStore. But I believe the majority of players were disappointed when it released... Then Warm gun vanished in the wind... Maybe they put it up for free because of the lack of players? I remember another game doing that recently, Free 2 Die, I believe. So did all Everplay games apparently. Make sure you avoid purchasing anything released by Everplay if you don't take pleasure in getting conned. Scammed. Etc.
