Just saw the article about this game. It looks crazy hard. http://toucharcade.com/2009/08/27/dark-nebula-an-impressive-looking-ball-roller/#comments
The graphics look really good. And I see some really good level designs in the video. Day one purchase for me too
I think you only bounce if you hit the yellow tiles, seems that way, unlike Bounder were you bounced constantly. The presentation is very slick, obviously professionals that are handling the design and development.
Dark Nebula Episode One was submitted to Apple today, so it should hopefully be out sometime this month.
I've got the chance to preview the game. I will have a review upon release day, so I don't particularly want to spoil what I will write there - suffice to say it's an episodic series and so there will be different apps at 99 cents, each being one piece of the bigger picture. Therefore it is a short game but incredibly well conceived. Also, it's not as hard as you think.
We are very happy to announce that Dark Nebula is now available on the App store at $0.99! http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=331149690&mt=8 I hope you enjoy it!
Thanks! There's a review up on www.weplayiphone.com and I think that Touch Arcade will post their review any time now.
