Hi, I was wondering why there are no star ratings in toucharcade reviews? Then on the other hand when a game has a thread in the forum there you can see a "toucharcarde.com rating" (x out of 5) which would indicate the game WAS rated by TA. But where is the rating in the review itself? Thanks!
We do our ratings in a somewhat unconventional manner where we look at all the games released in a particular month, then rate them as how we'd recommend them based on the other games of the month. This results in these monthly roundups: http://toucharcade.com/category/best-iphone-games/ We aim to write our reviews in a way that you don't need a black and white star rating to determine whether or not we liked a game.
That shouldn't be appearing for games that haven't been included in the monthly roundup posts yet. If it is, I'll bring it up with one of our developers.
