An Unreal Engine 3-powered game by Pardis Game Studio coming soon to Windows, Mac & iOS (iPhone, iPod Touch & iPad). Official concepts: Official screenshots: Official website: www.shabgardgame.com
Just from some nice screens you want the game? For all you know from this thread it could just be another borefest of mediocre, repetitive gameplay and pretty visuals.
I almost agreed. But I didn't. UE3 is beautiful and works fine on iOS, and the only way they can mess this up is if they DO have repetitive gameplay/free with pay walls. Otherwise, a new TPS running on a non cartoonish engine that looks nice.
Loving the subway setting shown in the pictures. Might be jumping a bit ahead though by saying the main character seems a bit......generic. Interested to see how this turns out.
That's nonsense. You have no idea what the gameplay actually is, and it's certainly not announced here or on their site to be a TPS. For all those screens showed, it's a "find waldo" puzzle game. Moreover, the engine has as much to do with whether a game is any good is as the concept art is indicative of the final product. And a "non cartoonish engine"? There's no such thing as a "cartoonish" engine. That is solely the art style department. Just because it's made with UE3 and has decent screen grabs (from the PC version, no doubt) doesn't mean we freak out and just gotta have it. UE is just an engine; it's the game itself that matters.
Info from Epicgames forum: "We've been working on this title for about a year and half, and we'll be glad to receive feedbacks from you" & "now we're trying to refine the gameplay mechanism and as soon as possible we're trying to release the trailer (probably this month) and we had a plan to launch Shabgard's game to this summer"
Don't forget that game is being released on other platforms to, screenshots might be from PC ver, pretty much same thing happened with Surreal System I do hope they are from iOS
