Great topic, Red. Hmmm, I'd definitely have to say Monument Valley 2, though OXENFREE, Old Man's Journey and To the Moon follow closely. I guess my current lifestyle just works with "experiences" over gameplay.
Haven't tried Oxenfree or Old Man's Journey due to insufficient space on my device. But, Oxenfree is the only game on my TA wish-list right now.
I'd probably have to go with the binding of Isaac. It's not my typical game genre but it did grip me for a while and I will easily think of that game to crack open every time I have the itch for a shooter (and a looter!).
MUL.MASH.TAB.BA.GAL.GAL As hard as pronouncing its title, it has a perfect arcade feel, top notch controls and perfect graphics. I'm waiting eagerly for the update.

Hate to admit it, but 2 freemium have been eating my time since i started playing them: Mobile Legends, and Lego Quest & Create.
My choices are in my sig: Sword Art Online: Memory Defrag, Death Road to Canada and Spaceplan. Three very different but all very good games, which is one of the joys of iOS. I'd probably be able to come up with more, especially as I have Oxenfree sitting in a folder, but I'm trying to play through some of my backlog. If I were to nominate the iOS games I've enjoyed most in 2017, none of them would be from this year! In order, I'd nominate Dust: An Elysian Tale; Adventures of Pip; and Warbits. With a special mention for Broken Age.
