So they can prepare for the release...though there isn't much hype right now. Hopefully by taking the chance of friday, there won't be an avalanch of apps.
Kind of figured something along those lines and also thought it had something to do with the opening sale since sales are usually on the weekends. I can wait, just looks so nice.
