I posted a "good" link in your thread - you should update it As for the TOFTA - I hate these kinds of games, so it'll never get a fair go from me. EDIT: I'll get it in a few hours if no one volunteers.
It's to get quick user feedback on "new" games, or games that haven't been / won't be covered by the usual major websites. Let's say a fictional game called GAME HD came out, but it had no publicity, is a first release from a new developer and doesn't have a publisher associated with it. Dude1 finds it on the App Store, sees no reviews anywhere and posts the game here because he finds it interesting but is unsure if the game is worth his investment. Dude2 jumps in and picks it up, then gets back with feedback like "this is good, this is bad". Dude3 also comes in, he already played GAME HD and adds more feedback from end-game or something, etc etc. Basically it lets the asker find out if his dollar is better spent here or on something else - and the "adopters" get a chance to discover a great low-profile game.
