I am really waiting for this. Let's just hope that Apple sorts things out quickly and this game will be released tonight.
I've got a screenshot for you! Looks like Retina to me, but it's got a pixel art style, and I'm not sure if I am the best judge of Retina-ness, so see for yourself!
Can't wait for this! Feels like Harvest Moon + Final Fantasy. Coupled with the shockingly low price, it's a day one purchase for me.
thank you! not bad actually. it seems to be inbetween retina and looks-like-retina =p either way i'm glad it's not blurry
A new release date has been posted: March 8th! Source: http://www.rideongames.com/iphone/adventure_bar_story/top.html Edit: This may only be tentative since I can't find it anywhere else! There is also no indication that Apple has approved the bug-fixed version yet!
Yeah, and Rune Raiders and lots of other stuff, damn. I mean, it is a good thing, but damn - when to play it all, and... what to play first?
There are some iap but they are completely optional! I was able to get 100% of everything without iap, they seem to just be there for people who don't want to wait for anything!
There's no IAP anymore, check out the front page article, bottom. The whole port comes at the price you pay initially. Nice move from the devs, will make them a lot more friends. Ok, everybody, time to show what the touchArcaders are made of. At release, go post the iTunes game's link everywhere - fb, Twitter, whatever. Let's have the best possible start for this baby. I wonder if we can get it into the Top10 on day 2 or 3?
I guess for those of you that have played it, how long does it last? I seem to be thinking that you guys are still playing through it (or haven't beaten it yet). I'm also hoping that it has a good story or else I won't feel inclined to hunt for ingredients lol Hopefully I didn't miss the answer somewhere in the thread!
Anyone able to tell me the GC achievements/leaderboards (& all that jazz) status on this smexy piece o' kit?
I have been playing for 7 hours and the story doesn't seem to be coming to an end. Also the story is often progressed by what you cook, so you kind of have to collect ingredients to progress through the story From what I see there isn't any game center functionality. Although it may be implemented later.
