It happened quickly because everyone KNOWS this is going to be the best game released for iOS yet! Here's hoping it will still be compatible with 1st gen devices (3.1.3 iOS) as stated earlier this year.
Will this game have a storyline with some sort of ending or some point at which you "win" the game, or is it more of a neverending sandbox type of thing like Sims/SimCity? Really hoping it's the latter or some combination.

Frankly, I'm not surprised. This game has the most no-brainer concept since Rovio put birds in a slingshot. Needless to say, I'm ecstatic that this is now in high gear.
And there's still 3 weeks to go! I wouldn't be surprised if they raised around $35,000 by the end of it. By that time, they'll be able to make the game SUPER ULTRA AWESOME! Like Bacon level awesomeness.
I know this has been asked before but I was just wondering about an update. I know you guys are planning on making an iphone version and an HD iPad version. Any plans to make the more expensive HD version universal. This is what a lot of companies do, and it worked well for World of Goo HD, Sword and Sworcery, and most of Chilingos titles. I like the idea that if you pay a premium you get both versions in 1 app. And if you dont have an ipad, pay less for just the iPhone version. Best of both worlds.
Since the kickstarter goal was reached (surpassed), is there any chance of seeing this earlier than Winter/EOY? I'm a huge X-Com fan and enjoy GDS and can't tell you how bad I'm jonesin' for this game!
