Dude restart your iPad. I had the same Troubles with the Game and was already smashing the iDevice against the Wall when my Girlfriend told me to restart the Device. I told her that she don`t know what she is talking about and did restart the iPad. The End of the Story is that you Guys can now watch the HD Gameplay Trailer about the Game and my Girlfriend is currently shopping with my Creditcard since a few Hours.
Any idea how the exp system works in this game? I've been playing for over an hour but only gone up 1 level in my first run. Since then it looks my exp bar gets reset each round, and my missions count for nothing. I'm top of the score leaderboard (yeh ive played it that much) but to have not changed level again seems...strange. is this a bug? Edit: NM figured it out. Despite the exp bar filling up after a run thats just bringing it back to original total, you dont get exp for running, only for missions.
what level do you get now? (you can find your profile at store page). If you complete a quest you will get some exp, and may level up. Can you take a snapshot about your mission panel and profile info?
Yeh, got confused when the exp bar filled up after a session as my score counted down, i thought the score was adding to the exp, but as I have figured out only missions add to exp. Cheers for getting back so quick tho. Just tried a MP game over 3G - laggy as hell. need to stick to wifi unfortunately
The Developer should add a playable Cat Character to the Game and the Staff from Toucharcade or at least Jared would went through the roof.
We have tested this game on ios 5(ipod, iphone,ipad1, ipad2). What is your idevice? We find a strange thing, sometime you need restart your device after game was just installed.
lol Restarting the device has been a fix for crashes with games pretty much ever since the app store opened. Unfortunately, I think iOS has some memory issues and isn't great dealing with apps that take lots of memory. Anyway, video looks cool - love the art style/ambience and gameplay looks like fun. I like that there are missions to complete too - so your runs mean something more than just a high score. That's one of the nice things about Temple Run. Might have to get this.
