For specific date i mean something like 20/06 for example, like Magic 2013 I say this because for me is better for the Playdek marketing aim for a specific date.
submitted late June and was promised on June? I hardly all that a delay. there are other Devs who's releases have been pushed back much worse
Don't get the wrong idea here, they took the time to get things perfectly in order and that's great because we expect a lot from them, but the app was at one time dated for Fall 2011. Despite that, getting a great conversion with so much content at launch is an amazing gift regardless of when it happens. You know Playdek is my favorite iOS developer, right? Nothing is going to change that. PS: Okay, maybe Firi Games still holds that spot... can't separate a man from his shmups
So... yeah... err... Still nothing? It's not that I'm pressuring anyone - I imagine the most frustrated people are actually Playdek. Still, with tomorrow being the 4th of July, I fear that if it's not today, it'll only be Thursday. As usual, this is not based on any facts - it's actually probably my mind just setting my expectations lower
Gary has said that the "In Review" process has been as short as an hour for them in the past. Let's hope that continues for Summoner Wars.
Well, just when I thought my habit of refreshing the AppStore could be quelled by fireworks and junk food... I was wrong
It can take as little as an hour but really it depends on the reviewer and the amount of content in a game. Then we have to take into account that playdek has said they will be delaying the release to ready their servers. So it could be ready to sell within as little as an hour but playdek won't release til their servers are prepared for the onslaught of players ready to get online
Has anyone come across how the acquisition of additional cards/boosters will be handled (since Summoner Wars is a collectible/deck construction-based card game, unlike Ascension and Nightfall)? Might there be a way to earn cards/IAP currency through gameplay, will boosters be sold as IAP alone (with no way to earn additional cards in-game), or will Summoner Wars actually just offer up all included cards for us to build decks with as we please?
