I don't mean to go off topic here but I read a really funny review on the US appstore. 'Graphics/Controls/Gameplay are not as good as "NFS:Shift" /rates 1 star' <-- I roflmao'd at that.
I wasn't having a go at the NFS:S, but was merely amused by the fact that he said a year old plus game had better graphics than RR2. Also I perfered NFS:U over Shift; I liked the arcady feeling of it.
That didn't work . I will wait for official confirmation that i can get my save data back via cloud cell before i reinstall the app
Ah, you're right. Do i need to make sure im logged onto my cloud cell account before deleting the app? How do i go about this?
Dunno, I think the Data is saved in the background, so if you do this you might be a few races behind. What i would do is open the app wait 5 mins then delete and re install.
Lol, Shift was an on-rails racer. GT Racing Academy isstill the one to beat (HD, many more real cars, more realistic driving model, manual transmission, multiplayer, more parts to upgrade, more events).
im having that problem where the game crashes after every race and im thinking about reinstalling too. however if game progress is saved through cloudcell then that could be the problem. when i go to leaderboards it says 'unable to contact cloudcell. please check your connection and that CC connectivity is enabled in options.' So im thinking that if cloudcell is down and progress is saved after every race then that could be why its crashing.
Yeh, I am have similar problems. I think i will wait untill the firemint guy logs in to touch arcade.
It seams like progress is only saved every few hours. If you wan't to save the game online so that you can use a different device or re-install do the following! Go to player settings>Restore Save>Upload. This will back up your current save game.
Thanks, you made me laughing for about a minute..... GT Racing Academy can't be called a game. It is pile.... well, you know. ( Removed after few minutes of gameplay ) Gameloft makes money, not games.
Anyone else notice that the replays have some motion blur when viewing from outside the car? I actually like this effect, reminds me of PGR for some reason, but don't notice it when in an actual race. For some reason, it gives the illusion of going faster! Is there a way to enable it? Is the blur really there or am I just going crazy?
Well, sadly there's a bit of truth in this sentence. @ Firemint: If you want to do me a small favor (it's nothing special, really), then I've got a small idea for your next game: replace the realistic graphics of RR 2 with "cute" graphics, implement "weapons" like banana peels, mushrooms, etc. and implement some "cartoonish" characters, then we'll have a real Mario Kart killer here. I mean, there's nothing in the world that could beat a fun racer by Firemint with an online mode for 16 players... Moreover: you would earn a ton of money with that, upon my word!
I've noticed it especially in the replays when you set the camera view to the outside-behind view. Like in this screenshot:
