They have already lost many of their biggest fans on TA (myself included). The last good game I can remember them making was Modern Combat 3, but since then their games have been nothing but freemium crap.
Yep. Every Gameloft game in 2012 will have IAPs, but doesn't mean it's freemium, could be paymium too and with Nova I think they won't do DH3 on it. Well there was Gangstar Rio and TinTin's Adventures too, but yeah, MC3 is excellent, but in that game we can see another downfall of Gameloft... They won't do anything to hackers, well they say they do, but so far I haven't seen a change since update. They don't update their games and they have a pretty bad customer support.
Yeah, but I bet the people working there are like: "Oh, new email?" *Paste Default Answer, click Send* "This job is too easy."
Yeah it's [email protected] Pretty much. Sent them a question regarding the change of my GL user name to add some clan tags there and well, I got an aswer of "We'll send this forward and get back to you asap!" and it's been almost 2 weeks if not 2 weeks...
I bought a couple of their games via the iap. Took my money, never activated the full game. I wrote multiple letters, never got anything back besides an acknowledgement that they got my email. They used to be an awesome company for ios. I used o pick their stuff up first day, full price. I don't even bother dling their freemeium junk anymore. Maybe, someday, things will change....
If you check now on facebook it's really obvious that that "the new blockbuster from Gameloft" is Nova 3!
I would bet there is next to no chance of that. Generally Gameloft announces their big games about six weeks before launch. All the previous big hitter series titles like Modern Combat, Dungeon Hunter, Asphalt, Gangstar, even 9mm, were announced between 4 to 8 weeks before launch. Even Six Guns and the freemium Gangstar game were announced at least a month before launch. They like to build up some anticipation and hype. Realistically, you're probably looking at mid to late June as a release date assuming they announce the game this week.
Haha is this a joke? I can't tell... But it definitely won't be out tomorrow. They are still yet to release the first screenshot to 'officially' announce it, and then release the trailer. They need to build up substantial hype for the game first, and tell us what format it will be (freemium, premium) and then give us a release date so we all know when to buy it so they can rocket it into the top charts
Well, it says actual ingame footage so officially amazed. Looks like the rumours about it using Unreal Engine were right all along. Can't see them making it freemium, hopefully. The development time alone, as they normally release nova in December, will mean this has to be good. Plus his flying into San Francisco, ironic and amusing considering, and not random outer space planet definitely makes it more interesting. Roll on sometime in June I hope.
