if i create my own game use this app, can i share it to my friends? so he/she is able to play my game too.
Yes! Along with GamePress there will be the GamePress Arcade which your friends and family can use to play your creations. This will be a completely free stand alone app for people who just want to play games, and not make them. In the future we also hope to add functionality for you to sell your games. But we ant to keep the process simple, so still need develop a streamlined method for users
Geovertex is quite different. Geovertex is a lot like the physics playground app creatorverse but with some game elements built in. With GamePress you're not just limited to what we give you. We have developed GamePress to be as powerful as desktop counterparts like GameSalad, game maker, and scirra construct2. We give full game development tools on the iPad, but make it easy
Oh, when I mentioned those, it wasn't meant to put this game down. This looks very cool. Do you have an estimated price/release?
I know your intentions were not to put this down. I was just stating the differences. We will be submitting to apple at the end of April. Pricing is still something were trying to determine. Hopefully will have something concrete in the coming weeks.
Hi everyone. We put up a small contest on our facebook page. You have the chance to win an iTunes giftcard by just filling out a short survey. This will help us narrow down which features to focus on, and also pricing. This still coming out or has something happened? I have £5 left on my itunes card and hope its enough I really hope its not free and full of iap, I'd rather buy a new card and pay more right up front.
Sorry for the delayed responses, we were just in the process of moving offices. Due to the move we're a little behind schedule but still very actively alive and developing GamePress to make it as easy to use as possible. We actually have done a small "test" release in the Canadian app store today. This is more to gather feedback and treated as an open beta test. It is up for $4.99. We are looking for beta testers in other markets, so if you are interested PM me your email and I will send out info to get you onboard as a private tester. As for RPGS, yes and no. You can technically make them but it will be a bit of a chore since the platform isn't optimized for them. The reason is we're currently focusing on making platform games and shooter games super easy. Once we're released and get user feedback we'll know where to focus next.
